I'm a maker through and through. I am based in Grande Prairie, AB. My studio is just outside the city. I love to create art in an abundance of different ways. After working in various mediums, I have settled primarily on glass and clay. I create one of a kind jewelry pieces as well as functional and decorative ceramic/glass pieces. I enjoy the physicality of clay and its’ versatility while glass affords me the vibrant colors that I crave. Glass also has more immediacy in creation while clay has a slower process.

Imagine

what can be created in glass or clay

Think about what you would like to make and then utilize the skill of an experienced potter to help you fashion your ideas into reality. Clay is one of the most versatile mediums available. You can make functional pieces on the wheel. You can handbuild with slabs. You can paint in various ways using the clay as a canvas. The possibilities are endless!!!

Then there is glass - the magical medium. The colors you can choose are vast and with glass you can make amazing jewelry beads or enjoy a perfect marble to savour in your pocket. Only your imagination will limit your production.

Endless color and flames

Working with glass is an addictive endeavour. There are so many colors to choose from and ample combinations to entertain any artist. Each bead is crafted on a stainless steel mandrel. Then it goes into a small bead kiln to be annealed. Annealed beads are much stronger and will withstand daily wear.
